Different groups have different rules
Major Syndicates can have relationships that affect each other's Standing, while open-world factions generally use their own activities and vendors. Check the in-game Syndicate screen for current rank, caps and available purchases. Do not assume a faction's reward can be purchased simply because you have enough Standing.
- Identify the faction attached to your desired reward.
- Review the rank requirement and any required sacrifices.
- Check the faction's current activities and daily limit.
Plan for the next rank, not only the meter
A promotion may require resources, tokens or other items in addition to accumulated Standing. Look at that list before starting a long run; otherwise you can be ready to rank up but unable to proceed. If a required activity is locked by story progression, prioritize unlocking it instead.
- Write down the next rank's materials.
- Combine eligible bounty runs with needed resources.
- Keep enough Standing for the purchase you actually want.
Avoid wasting your daily time
A modest daily Standing routine can be enough for a long-term reward goal. It may not be worth completing every bounty if you have already reached the current cap or there is nothing useful to buy. If you pledged to a major faction, inspect how that choice affects other factions and plan accordingly.
- Track a single reward or unlock goal.
- Stop at your useful daily progress target.
- Recheck the vendor after game updates.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I rank up even though my Standing bar is full?
A promotion can require more than accumulated Standing. Open the Syndicate's rank-up screen and inspect any resource, token or prerequisite requirements. These may come from different missions or vendors. Gather them before another long Standing session; earning more Standing may be impossible if you have reached a daily cap or are waiting at a promotion threshold.
Can I level every major Syndicate at the same time?
Major Syndicate relationships can award or reduce Standing with other factions, so raising one can slow progress with an opposing group. Plan around the rewards you value and consider later re-pledging or permitted trading for selected items. Open-world and story factions use different systems, so do not assume every group's relationships follow the same rules.
